Consult International was established in 2000, providing railway consultancy for assurances on building developments taking place by the railway line. We offer consultancy and guidance to the railway industry, building contractors, and the legal profession. Our team consists of a diverse and widespread team of experienced engineers and assurance staff, who liaise with third-party authorities, primarily Network Rail and TfL, to ensure your project’s risks are understood and mitigated.
Our mission is to be the expert in third-party rail assurance, ensuring the projects we work on are delivered safely and efficiently, with zero operational risk to Network Rail, and to resolve issues before they become problems.
Asset Protection and Optimisation (ASPRO)
ASPRO is the part of Network Rail that protects the railway infrastructure when other organisations want to work on or near it. Developers must submit their plans to ASPRO for Network Rail engineers to approve to safeguard the railway. Consult International will help you through the Asset Protection process and provide support in dealing with construction adjacent to the railway, helping navigate the complex requirements and approvals.
